Nobu Tribeca
I am sitting at my computer trying to do work after eating a large meal at Nobu in Tribeca. I am in a full on food coma and of course the Saki did not help. Nobu is really the best sushi, it is incredible that a restaurant that is a chain as large as Nobu is able to keep the quality of the food and service as high as they do.
Being available to the customer
There are just so many things that can be done in a business, a lot of times you have to ask yourself where do you stop.
It is now 12:26 am and I am sitting here emailing customers. I can not help myself, I really like interacting with our customer base but it can really take up a lot of time. Every night I look through all of our orders and customer service tickets and interact with customers...
Carbonite Kicks Ass
My Apple hard drive blew up in August and my new Sony had the power go out on the mother board. On the Apple I lost almost everything (I know, back your stuff up…) and on the Sony I did not loose the data but it was a real pain in the ass to get it. I had to rip the laptop open, take the hard drive out and put it into a USB thing to put into my now new Dell laptop. Well someone told me...
HTML
Tonight I was looking at Fred Wilson’s Tumblr and I could not figure out how he has comments and I do not. Well he uses Disqus, so I went to the site and got a Disqus account. In order to make it work you need to do some very simple cutting and pasting of HTML from Disqus to Tumblr. While Tumblr should build something to make this easier by say checking a box, I really enjoyed the behind...
Ebay
I am selling 2 cars on ebay right now. Everytime I use Ebay I always think how incredible it is that ebay has not been trumped by another more nimble start-up. They are back in the Yahoo! error yet there has not been a Google that has knocked them off yet. I think that their dedication to the power sellers and community has allowed them to maintain dominance in space where the back end...
I love to run!
Just ran 3 miles. I find that exercise is such and important daily regiment to keeping myself sane. I highly recommend it I always feel ready and fresh for the next challenge.
Redeye VC: After the Techcrunch Bump →
This was a post I saw by Josh Kopelman this morning. He is another really clear thinking VC, probably because he is on the East Coast:) I totally agree with what he is saying and after being posted in TechCrunch twice now have a first hand viewpoint on it.
This is an interview i did with Bambi from VatorTV. I really like what they are doing.

I love blogging.
That’s why I post just about every day and many days I’m posting several times a day.
But I gotta tell you. I really dig reading other people’s blogs.
And when they are honest & transparent…well, that’s just the best.

TechCrunch.com
SimulScribe just got a very nice post on www.techcrunch.com. I always get so excited when we get into the news. Sometimes it can feel like no one can see all the hard work that you are doing, especially on a day like today when my whole focus was on back end stuff that we are doing. Posts like this really can get the blood flowing. I read Tech Crunch every day, I think that it is one of the...
