Where does Google get all of that money…

I have really been enjoying the tech blog Gigaom more and more recently.  Today they have a post about where Google’s revenue comes from.

97% of Google’s revenue comes from advertising

What I find most interesting about this as an entrepreneur whose business is under a full attack from Google is that while they have bought and gone into 100’s of markets their revenue and in my view achilles heal is basically single source.

So for all of the entrepreneurs out their fighting against the Google juggernaut there are lots of ways to live even with Google in your market, especially if you look at monetization routes outside of advertising.
