Being a Parent
As some of you know my wife and I will be having our first child in July. I was chatting with a friend of mine from high school, Jayson Rully over email today.He just had a baby and here is what he said about it:
“Being a dad is so incredible, I won’t even try to explain because words can’t do it justice. You’ll know what I mean soon enough - it all starts the moment your eyes met for the first time - its awesome. We are having a blast with her.”
A lot of people tell you when you are having a baby, “Oh your life is going to change (and then roll their eyes and make gestures of pain)” These are the same people who bitch about being married, etc., you know the type. Thanks for sharing the positive energy Jay, I can’t wait to have mine. And if having a baby does change my life, then I say great, getting married changed my life and that was very much for the better.
