I just got an email from my friend Jeremy about the Internet service provided by Aircell on American Airlines is moving forward and going live on selected flights now.
I fly AA almost once a week. As a tech guy who has done everything to get every type of technology productivity device I think that I am surprisingly sad to see this happen.
The plane has been a quiet time where all of the noise of IM, Email, Voice, etc., is gone and I can just concentrate on what I want to do. I actually feel refreshed after a flight…
Well the good news is for Aircell that I will use it, probably buy some all you can eat annual plan and even though I will miss the quiet I can now fly during the day which I almost never do because it puts me too out of touch.
