It is amazing but EC2 got even cooler today. For those of you who are not a geek like me, EC2 is a cloud computing so that you can basically build your entire business and run it in Amazon’s mass of servers for real cheap. In a lot of ways I think it is one of the bigger innovations of the Internet (I am sure many will disagree but f-it this is my blog)So 2 things were announced today, static IP’s and the ability to run on EC2 in diverse data centers. These are literally the 2 last things that I needed done for a new company that I am in stealth on right now. So thanks Amazon, if Microsoft was smart they would stop looking at Yahoo and buy you!
