I love motorcycles and would love to own one… But the risk reward is just not there with a motorcycle, even after your kids go to college.
Bijan, I look at a motorcycles like a new investment or start up.  Would you ever invest in something that has limited upside (the thrill of driving) and a more extreme downside (at best you are crippled when you crash a bike).  Additionally regardless of how good you are external forces (cars controlled by distracted idiots) can wipe out your investment (you) at any time.
Any entrepreneur/vc should not buy a motorcycle if they apply the same metrics that make them successful in business.
