When I was at Macy’s this weekend buying a couch the guy went over to an old IBM terminal to key in the order (old green screen).  I loved it, it works and if you think about how much use Macy’s has gotten out of this the cost of ownership had probably broken records.  Not saying that they should not upgrade but I do like it when people do not upgrade things unnecessarily, new does not always give increased performance or better efficient and too often things are upgraded just for the sake of upgrading not for real purpose or ROI.
