This is a great post and video from my friend Tim Ferriss about a programmer who losses his job and goes to India to “see where his job went”.
I have outsourced programming offshore in the past and found that I can develop quicker and cheaper by using programmers here in North America. All of the programmers for PhoneTag are in NYC.
Outsourcing is one way of doing business but as far as I am concerned anytime I go against a competitor that is outsourcing their programming I always kick their asses.
