28 years later...

During Hillary’s speach this weekend I was thinking that since 1980 (when I was 4 years old) there has been a Bush or a Clinton in the Whitehouse:

1980-1988- Bush Sr. VP

1988-1992- Bush Sr. President

1992-2000- Clinton President

2000-2008- Bush Jr. President

To think that our country has been under the rule of 2 families for 28 years seems so incredible 3rd world.  The founding fathers were smart but I think that they made a huge mistake in not outlawing the ability for political dynasties to be formed.

I would really like to see Obama win but with that I hope that he does not pick Hillary for VP.  It really is time for a truly fresh team to enter the Whitehouse.
