American Airlines has created a total disaster with their additional charge per piece of checked luggage. I am on my way from LA to NYC and the check in lines are worse then I have ever seen them. They did not plan operationally on how to take the money so it has wreaked havoc on their check in system. The fact that Airlines need to charge more with fuel prices I am fine with, the lack of planning to collect that money seems a little ridiculous.
