July 5th- Annual Voicemail Independence Day

Michael ArringtonImage via Wikipedia

Well yesterday we celebrated America’s independence and today I feel that Michael Arrington over at TechCrunch declared Voicemail Independence today.  His post, Think Before You Voicemail, was great.  It really pointed out why voicemail sucks and it also pointed out (probably why I liked it so much) how Voicemail Transcription is the answer to it.  So at least at PhoneTag we have declared July 5th “TechCrunch Voicemail Independence Day”

Also thank you to Fred Wilson for adding a comment about PhoneTag all the way from his vacation in France.

The voicemail transcription market came out very hot, then seemed to cool a bit and all of a sudden it seems that things are getting hot again.  This summer is going to be very good for PhoneTag, towards the end we should have some announcements that will put us clearly ahead the other players in the market.
