My wife and I ate breakfast at Snug Harbor in Santa Monica on Sunday.  It is one of our favorite breakfast places in LA.
On the front of the menu they have the history of the restaurant.  I love when businesses put stories, history, etc., around for customers to read.  It is such a key way for a company to connect with its customers on a different and higher level then just commerce.
Fanatical customers are so important to the long term success of a business and connecting to customers on a human level is one very easy way of creating fanatical customers.
