I was surprised to see a Hydrogen powered Honda parked in front of my breakfast spot this morning.
Last week I was having a discussion with someone who is a real leader in the alternative fuel auto industry about all of the different options being built now.
He felt that electric was the best especially because he said that a small array of solar panels can power a normal drivers habits and that CNG would basically be the second best. He told me that Hydrogen is a joke, that when you take into account the energy to produce it, store it, etc., that it is probably worse for the environment then my Prius.
Lets hope that gas prices keep climbing so that entrepreneurs like the one I was chatting with will have the market to make it worthwhile to develop alternative fuel vehicles.
UPDATE- well a little Google searching around (I was bored and the baby was sleeping) turns out only 6 of these cars have been delivered in the US. This one belongs to Ron Yerxa, some sort of show biz guy.
