I am currently at the CTIA show in Vegas. One of the early announcements was that ATT is going to start selling Palm phones. However while this is a big announcement for Palm, they already have over half the market covered with Verizon/Sprint and 
still have not been able to get the phones out there. I wish them the best but competing with a $99 iPhone on ATT is going to be pretty difficult.
The best breakdown of Plam’s troubles was written a few days ago by Joshua Topolsky of Engadget. If you have anything to do with mobile or technology this article is long but worth the read. It goes through point by point how Palm really had a kick ass product in the Pre but sort of f’d it up every chance they had.
It is a shame, I would like to see Palm be a strong competitor in the mobile space.
