I saw a commercial for Swapalease.com on TV this morning so I went and checked it out. I had a Porsche on a lease that I got rid of in January of this year, it was kind of a pain in the ass, wish these guys had been around then.
I like the micro-ebay/craigslist competitors start up space. It is one of the only ways to take those 2 giants on is to try and shave off a small vertical. That is what Stub-Hub did so successfully.
The site is nice, easy to navigate and the market should be great for them as there are a lot of people that overextended and need to get out of leases.
They will have one problem which they do not seem to be addressing which is all of the scams/fraud/phishing that plagues these auction and classified sites.
