The below is just one more reason that I like Chris, well said.

It’s also a graphical representation of something I think is wrong with the way things are done in the United States. Cities are the economic drivers of this country. They produce more wealth, consume more goods, and are more environmentally friendly than rural and suburban areas. Almost any way you stack it in US government, things end up tremendously lopsided against urban areas when it comes to resource planning and that’s how you get ridiculous farm subsidies and Patriot Act grants in rural areas that have no real use for the proceeds.
