Google maps has the coolest new (I think it is pretty new) feature for traffic.  It now gives you the ability to choose the date and time so that you can plan your future trip according to average traffic patterns for that day and time. The above picture is a screen shot of my trip that I am planning for tomorrow from New York to Philadelphia. This feature is especially valuable in areas where you are not familiar with the traffic patterns.
