I love it when people do the right thing

I have written a few posts like this in the past.  With Google Alerts and other search tools, small blogs like this one can sometimes get the attention of companies based on the subject of a post.  Most of the time I am disappointed by the person that contacts me.  Typically it is a form letter from some dumb PR person asking me to write about the product of some company that they represent.

Sometimes however I am pleasantly surprised about the person/company contacting me.  I am very sensitive to this area of social interaction as I contact lots of blogs to write about PhoneTag but I always try to do it the “right” way.

Here is the email I received from a e-card company called Pencake.  It was in response to a post that I wrote about e-cards a few days ago.  I still stand behind the post which in summary is that I equate most (read the post for exceptions) e-cards to spam…

Anyway, nice job to Terry from Pencake for the right way to email someone from a blog post:
