Backing up my Apple

Time Capsule (08)Image by Erik mit k via Flickr

The thing that I miss the most since I have switched from PC to Mac is my online backup.  On the PC I used to use Carbonite.  The best part about the service is that it backed up the entire hard drive to the cloud whenever I was online, not jsut selected files or folders.

Apple offers an awesome back-up solution called Time Capsule but the major drawback is that Time Capsule only synchronizes your files when you are home, as it is a hardware based solution.  For a traveler it is really not the best solution.

What would be awesome is to have Time Capsule in the cloud, so far from what I have seen none of the online services offer this, not dropbox, not jungle disk, Carbonite does not even work for Mac yet, backblaze is in beta…

Anyway if anyone knows of something that would work please tell me, if there is nothing out there please someone build Time Capsule in the cloud, I am happy to pay for that service.
