Apple update

I have now been using my MacBook Air for about 5 motnhs.  As I had stated in previous posts I have become too addicted to the Microsoft Office suite of services (mainly Outlook and Excel) so I loaded VMWare on my MacBook to run them as Windows apps.  The problem with the Apple version of MS Office is that they have a lot of features stripped out that I use constantly.

Up until about a month ago everything was workign great.  Then a update came from the Apple side which stopped giving the windows side access to the printers, so since then I have been unable to print from the windows side which is a pain in the ass but I can deal with that.

Then in the last 2 weeks the computer has been running slower and slower, both sides (the windows and MAC).  I have every virus program running so it is not that.

Yesterday my Outlook started to crash.  Since then I have been unable to get Outlook running again.

Thank god for Gmail and the cloud, which is where I keep everything.  Because we use Gmail in all of the businesses I am running at about 90% efficiency (I find Outlook a little better to work in).

I love the look of the Air and how easy it is to travel with, which is good because there is definitely extra effort in using it vs. a PC.  I guess I am going to have to wipe everything clean this weekend and start from scratch again.
