Managing Twitter for Business
Twitter for me is a total business tool. For some reason I am just not into using it, I concentrate all of my online presence both personal and business on this blog.
I am now managing 3 Twitter accounts, @JamieSiminoff, @SimulScribe and @Grid. Soon I will be adding a 4th which will be PhoneTag (still trying to secure the name on Twitter). I also watch a number of key words that when posted on Twitter I am alerted. When applicable I join into the conversations. This type of real time interaction with the community is extremely valuable. The results of doing all of this have been extremely positive from a business side, it is fairly inefficient. Or at least it was…
I just started using Seesmic Desktop today. I have tried a number of Twitter apps for the desktop but so far I find Seemic’s to be far and away the best. Finally I have a app where all of my accounts and search terms can be managed from one clean interface.
